Our Story
We got tired of watching people throw away tumblers.
Not because the tumblers broke - because they failed quietly. The vacuum seal gave out after six months and nobody noticed until their ice was melting in an hour. The straw came apart at the seam and black mold moved in, invisible until someone held it up to the light. The steel rusted from the inside because the manufacturer used 201-grade steel and called it "food-safe stainless" on the box. These weren't freak accidents. They were the business model - build it cheap, watch it fail, count on the customer to blame themselves and buy another one.
We looked at what was actually on the market and made a decision: stop tolerating specs that get hidden in fine print. Most tumbler brands don't tell you what grade of steel they're using because they're running 201 or low-grade 304, and they know that if you looked it up, you'd understand why your coffee tastes metallic and your tumbler has rust spots after a year. We build the VaultSip 40oz from 18/8 food-grade 316 stainless steel - the same grade used in surgical instruments and marine equipment. That's not a marketing claim. It's a material choice that costs more and lasts longer, full stop.
Our mission is simple: make one tumbler you don't replace. The drinkware industry runs on churn. We don't. We want to be the last tumbler you buy, not because we've locked you into a lifestyle or a subscription, but because we built something that actually holds up. If that means you never buy from us again, we're fine with that. That's the point.
The product reflects that thinking at every level. The vacuum insulation is double-walled and rated to keep drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 - tested, not estimated. The lid is leak-resistant and built for one-handed use. And the straw is a single-piece silicone design with no joints, no connectors, no hidden seams. That matters because multi-piece straws trap moisture in the gaps between sections, and that moisture becomes mold. We've seen the photos. You've probably seen them too. Our straw pulls out in one piece, rinses clean in seconds, and gives mold nowhere to hide. It's not a feature we invented a story around. It's a problem we actually solved.
VaultSip. Built to outlast the rest.
